A hoist is a gravity-loaded system: if power is lost, the load will try to move in the unsafe direction (down). That’s why the hoisting mechanism typically requires a فرامل آمنة للفشل—also called a spring-applied, power-released brake أو power-off brake. In normal operation, power (electro-hydraulic, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromagnetic) holds the brake released. If electrical power fails, a control component fails, or an emergency stop occurs, the brake automatically applies using spring force, preventing load drop or runaway motion.
